Construction Supervision

Thermo Design can send a group of construction supervisors to the site to oversee the installation of the modules and to oversee whatever site fabrication and construction is required. Thermo Design can also hire local construction labour and local equipment if required. Thermo Design can also provide the following construction management services:

• Safety management
• Contract administration and supervision
• Contract evaluation
• Freight logistics
• Scheduling
• Cost accounting and control

Commissioning and Startup

Thermo Design can send a dedicated team of specialists to the jobsite to commission the plant. Commissioning services include:

• Clean out piping (flush and/or purge)
• Prepare piping for usage
• Check out motors and controls
• Water and air runs for systems where appropriate
• Verify control system operation
• Start up equipment with process fluids
• Verify process operations and capabilities

Thermo Design specialists can supervise the start up of the plant with the plant operators. Other services include:

• Preparation of operating/plant maintenance manuals
• Operator training
• Continuing technical support

After Sales Services

Spares Parts Supply

Spares of previously supplied fabricated items are manufactured to order while component parts are purchased / manufactured upon request and receipt of a client’s purchase order. A typical lead time for an item to be received by a client is two to ten weeks from the receipt of the client’s purchase order, ex works date, depending on the part.

Spare parts can be available for an item for up to 20 years since these are manufactured by standard components.

Thermo Design can guarantee availability and supply of spares and spare parts based on our suppliers ability to provide timely delivery of our orders for materials and equipment.

All spares and spare parts shipments are sent by air or water depending on the size of the shipment from our head office in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada or drop shipped directly from our vendor to our client’s destination.

Service Repair Facility

All of our service and repair work is performed either at our base of operations or at the client’s plant site as stipulated in the contract.
