Thermo Design has a Total Quality Management (TQM) program.

Program Overview

Thermo Design's quality assurance system accreditation is based on American Society of Mechanical Engineering (ASME), the Alberta Pressure Equipment Safety Authority (ABSA), & Canadian Standards Association (CSA) codes, as well as ISO 9000, and is accredited by the ASME and ABSA.

Thermo Design’s quality assurance program and welding procedures are registered in the province of Alberta, Canada and approved by ABSA. Thermo Design possesses a Certification of Authorization from ABSA to conduct performance qualification testing of pressure welders and machine welding operators according to the requirements of ASME  and CSA-B51.

Thermo Design’s quality control system is registered with the ASME, NBBI, and ABSA.

Thermo Design is a registered company in the province of Alberta, Canada.

Thermo Design is licensed by the Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA) to practice Engineering – Permit Number P2800.

Thermo Design is certified with the American Society of Mechanical Engineers as an ASME "U-, U2- and UM-Stamp" Fabricator.

Thermo Design is licensed by Gosgortechnadzor and Gost Standard of the Russian Federation for the design, installation & commissioning of equipment for oil & gas processing plants in the Russian Federation.

Thermo Design holds a safety quality license from Chinese Bureau of Pressure Vessel Import for the importation of pressure vessels into China.

Thermo Design is registered in Poland, UDT license UC-29113 for the import of pressure vessels.

Thermo Design is fully qualified to perform all pressure welding processes including low temperature work, stainless steels, inconel, monel and other alloys.  It has developed extensive fabrication expertise in these areas.
