Biogas, Landfill Gas (LFG) and Renewable Natural Gas (RNG) are important to the environment because they offer a sustainable way to manage organic waste while simultaneously reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Biogas is produced through the anaerobic digestion of organic materials, such as agricultural waste, food scraps, and sewage, which would otherwise release methane, a potent greenhouse gas, into the atmosphere. Landfill gas is captured emissions from landfills, rich in methane, but highly contaminated. By capturing and utilizing these two sources of methane as RNG for heating, electricity, or vehicle fuel, TDE significantly cuts down on methane emissions and reduces reliance on fossil fuels. Additionally, our facilities recycle waste into valuable energy, support circular economy principles, and help in managing waste sustainably, thereby contributing to cleaner air, reduced pollution, and a lower overall carbon footprint.
