TDE has supplied pre-fabricated electrical and control buildings, fully wired and ready to set-in-place at the designated site. Prefabrication saves time and site labour costs which can be significant at a remote location.

TDE offers either our Standard Pre-Engineered Modular Packages or Fully Customized Designs to meet varying project and schedule requirements.

ELECTRICAL AND CONTROL BUILDINGS

ELECTRICAL BUILDING (E-HOUSE)
TDE designs and procures the equipment for installation in the E-House which may include:
• Low and Medium Voltage Switchgear and Motor Control
• Low and Medium Voltage VFD’s and Soft Starters
• Transfer Switches
• Distribution Panels and Transformers – Small Power Loads, Electric Heat Trace
• Uninterruptible Power Systems
• PLC and DCS Control Cabinets
• Unit Control Panels – Compressors, Heaters, Generators
• Lighting, HVAC, Fire Alarm

E-House and Control Building Construction

Modular E-House Construction:
• Cable entry through building walls or elevated for bottom cable entry
• Self-framing panels, walls and roof
• Steel members added as necessary to support long spans and heavy apparatus
• Insulated, vapour barrier
• Large double doors often with removable transom for handling of oversized equipment
• Man-door
• Cable, cable tray, conduit and wire. Fully wired to the possible extent for shipping
• Flooring – Steel Plate with Grey Finish
• Stairs, platforms, railings
• Colour Finish – Interior Gloss White, Exterior –Customer Preference

Modular Control Building Construction:
• Bottom cable entry
• Self-framing panels, walls and roof
• Insulated, vapour barrier
• Man-door (s)
• Vestibule if required
• Operator and engineering work stations
• Outlets for normal and UPS power
• Ethernet and phone outlets
• Cable, cable tray, conduit and wire. Fully wired to the fullest possible extent for shipping
• Flooring – Steel Plate with Grey Finish, Vinyl Covering with Wooden Sub-Floor – Available
• Stairs, platforms, railings
• Colour Finish – Interior Gloss White, Exterior – Customer Preference
• Washroom, Locker Room, Lunch Room, Offices – Available
